A superb “bird’s-eye view” map of Chicago’s central business district from 1898, just one year after the Loop was opened. I performed a lot of restorative work on this map, including piecing the four separate parts of the original back together again. Original copyright-free image sourced from the Library of Congress.
Available in four sizes: 23″ wide by 16.7″ high (plus a 0.5″ white border on each side); 31″ wide by 22.5″ deep (0.75″ white border); 42″ wide by 30.4 deep (1″ white border) and a truly massive 58″ wide x 42″ deep (1″ white border).
Each poster is printed on-demand using fully archival, UltraChrome inks on Moab Lasal Matte, a beautiful, brilliant white, 230gsm (11 mil) alpha cellulose paper which is acid- and lignin-free. Each print is carefully inspected, wrapped in pH-neutral paper, then rolled and placed in a sturdy chipboard tube for shipping.
