An absolutely stunning “birds-eye view” map of the Charles River area west of Boston in 1900, showing how the small rural communities were linked by rail. Notable for showing lines that would become part of the modern Boston commuter rail network (the Fitchburg, Framingham/Worcester and Needham lines are all visible) and the “D” branch of the T’s Green Line to Riverside.
Available in three sizes: 23″ wide by 16.8″ high (plus a 0.5″ white border on each side), 30″ wide by 22″ deep (plus 1″ white border); and 42″ wide x 30.8″ deep (plus 1″ white border).
Each poster is printed on-demand using fully archival, UltraChrome inks on Moab Lasal Matte, a beautiful, brilliant white, 230gsm (11 mil) alpha cellulose paper which is acid- and lignin-free. Each print is carefully inspected, wrapped in pH-neutral paper, then rolled and placed in a sturdy chipboard tube for shipping.
