A superb photograph of Indianapolis’ Union Traction Building (also known as the Indianapolis Traction Terminal), taken c. 1907. The terminal was built in 1904 to service the seven separate electric interurban railroads that served Indianapolis and surrounding towns. Interurban service ended in 1941, but the building continued to act as a bus station until 1968. The train shed was then demolished, and the nine-story office building followed in 1972.
Prints are available in three sizes: 23″ wide x 18″ tall (on a 24″ x 19″ sheet); 29″ wide x 23″ tall (on a 30″ x 24″ sheet), and 35″ wide by 27″ tall (on a 36″ x 28″ sheet).
Each poster is printed on-demand using fully archival, UltraChrome inks on Moab Lasal Matte, a beautiful, brilliant white, 230gsm (11 mil) alpha cellulose paper which is acid- and lignin-free. Each print is carefully inspected, wrapped in pH-neutral paper, then rolled and placed in a sturdy chipboard tube for shipping.
