German Railways Pictorial Map, c. 1950

A stunning pictorial map of railroad destinations in Germany c. 1950 (note the border between East and West Germany) – Die Schöne Eisenbahnreise – with cities represented by a landmark building, often a cathedral or castle. Heavy yellowing and aging have been carefully and sympathetically removed to create this print.

Available in two image sizes: 22″ wide by 31″ high (with a 1″ white margin on each side); and 16.25″ wide by 23″ high (with a 0.5″ white margin on each side).

Each poster is printed on-demand using fully archival, UltraChrome inks on Moab Lasal Matte, a beautiful, brilliant white, 230gsm (11 mil) alpha cellulose paper which is acid- and lignin-free. Each print is carefully inspected, wrapped in pH-neutral paper, then rolled and placed in a sturdy chipboard tube for shipping.
