Washington, D.C. Metro Map in the Style of an Unpublished 1973 Concept

A diagram of the current Washington, DC Metro system in a style inspired by an unpublished 1973 concept diagram by Massimo Vignelli. As the original diagram didn’t have concurrent lines, I’ve had to take some creative liberties to incorporate them. See here for more information on these diagrams. Updated to show the full Silver Line, Potomac Yard station and all the late 2022 station name changes.

Available in four sizes: 24″ wide by 21.5″ high, 27″ wide by 24″ tall, 44″ wide by 39″ deep, and 49.5″ wide by 44″ tall

Each poster is printed on-demand using fully archival, UltraChrome inks on Moab Lasal Matte, a beautiful, brilliant white, 230gsm (11 mil) alpha cellulose paper which is acid- and lignin-free. Each print is carefully inspected, wrapped in pH-neutral paper, then rolled and placed in a sturdy chipboard tube for shipping.
