Washington, D.C. Metrorail System Diagram

My redesign of the Washington, D.C. Metrorail system diagram, refined over many years. An earlier iteration of this diagram was the “Peoples’ Choice” winner of the Greater Greater Washington contest to redesign the map in 2011, and I’ve made many improvements to the map since then. The map has been updated to show the fully operational Silver Line to Dulles International Airport and Ashburn, as well as the soon-to-open Potomac Yard fill-in station.

Each poster is printed on-demand using fully archival, UltraChrome inks on Moab Lasal Matte, a beautiful, brilliant white, 230gsm (11 mil) alpha cellulose paper which is acid- and lignin-free. Each print is carefully inspected, wrapped in pH-neutral paper, then rolled and placed in a sturdy chipboard tube for shipping.
