Sydney Planned City Railway, 1913

$30.00$37.00

A map (possibly the cover for the plan set it shows) of a proposed City Railway with tramway connections in Sydney from 1913. Of interest because it shows an early version of the “Bradfield Plan” for Sydney’s rail – an underground city loop, but without the Harbour Bridge or Eastern Suburbs lines seen in his later proposals from 1915 onwards.

Each poster is printed on-demand using fully archival, UltraChrome inks on Moab Lasal Matte, a beautiful, brilliant white, 230gsm (11 mil) alpha cellulose paper which is acid- and lignin-free. Each print is carefully inspected, wrapped in pH-neutral paper, then rolled and placed in a sturdy chipboard tube for shipping.
