A wonderful relief map of the Pacific Electric Railway around Los Angeles in 1920, around the time of its greatest extent. The map was created by taking a photograph of a relief model of the area, and then overlaying the route lines and other details on top of the photo. The final effect is quite striking, and this has long been one of my favourite maps.
Each poster is printed on-demand using fully archival, UltraChrome inks on Moab Lasal Matte, a beautiful, brilliant white, 230gsm (11 mil) alpha cellulose paper which is acid- and lignin-free. Each print is carefully inspected, wrapped in pH-neutral paper, then rolled and placed in a sturdy chipboard tube for shipping.
