Chugoku-Shikoku Regions, Japan, 1927

$20.00$33.00

An absolutely superb and intricately detailed stylised birds-eye view map of the Chugoku-Shikoku regions of Japan, created by cartographer Hatsusaburō Yoshida in 1927. Designed as an aid to tourists and travellers, the map plays with perspective and scale to masterfully highlight important sites and locations. Roads and railways are shown in great detail.

Each poster is printed on-demand using fully archival, UltraChrome inks on Moab Lasal Matte, a beautiful, brilliant white, 230gsm (11 mil) alpha cellulose paper which is acid- and lignin-free. Each print is carefully inspected, wrapped in pH-neutral paper, then rolled and placed in a sturdy chipboard tube for shipping.
