Puget Sound Birds-Eye View, 1938

$27.00$185.00

A beautiful panoramic map of the entire Puget Sound region in Washington (and beyond, as the view encompasses what is now known as the Salish Sea, extending way up into British Columbia). The map dates from C. 1938, as the original Tacoma Narrows bridge, or “Galloping Gertie”, can be seen under construction. While the map shows all modes of transport, the extensive rail and ferry networks are featured very prominently.

Available in four sizes: 23″ wide by 14″ high (plus a 0.5″ white border on each side); 35.5″ wide by 22″ deep (1″ white border); 42″ wide by 26 deep (1″ white border) and a truly massive 68″ wide x 42″ deep (1″ white border).

Each poster is printed on-demand using fully archival, UltraChrome inks on Moab Lasal Matte, a beautiful, brilliant white, 230gsm (11 mil) alpha cellulose paper which is acid- and lignin-free. Each print is carefully inspected, wrapped in pH-neutral paper, then rolled and placed in a sturdy chipboard tube for shipping.
