A stunningly beautiful isochrone map showing travel times from Berlin to the rest of Brandenburg in 1819. The map was produced in 1903 by Dr. W. Schjerning as one of a series of maps that showed travel times in 1819, 1951, 1975 and 1899. This one is the most visually interesting of the four maps, as it has the most isochrone bands.
Available as a 23″ wide x 17″ tall print, with a 0.5″ white border on all sides (24″ x 18″ sheet).
Also available is a print of all four maps on one sheet: click here.
Each poster is printed on-demand using fully archival, UltraChrome inks on Moab Lasal Matte, a beautiful, brilliant white, 230gsm (11 mil) alpha cellulose paper which is acid- and lignin-free. Each print is carefully inspected, wrapped in pH-neutral paper, then rolled and placed in a sturdy chipboard tube for shipping.
