Brandenburg, Germany – Isochrone Maps of Travel Times (1819, 1851, 1875, 1899)

$30.00$75.00

A superb series of isochrone maps originally produced in 1903 to show the improvement of travel times in Brandenburg from Berlin from 1819 to 1899. Each band represents an hour of travel time.

The series of maps are available in two variants: one is a 24″ x 24″ square print with the 1819 map enlarged above the other three as the most visually interesting of the four maps. There is also a rectangular arrangement of the maps where they are each equally sized – this variant is available in three different print sizes. Make your selection of variant and size from the drop-down menu below.

The 1819 map is also available as an individual print here.

Each poster is printed on-demand using fully archival, UltraChrome inks on Moab Lasal Matte, a beautiful, brilliant white, 230gsm (11 mil) alpha cellulose paper which is acid- and lignin-free. Each print is carefully inspected, wrapped in pH-neutral paper, then rolled and placed in a sturdy chipboard tube for shipping.
