Daniel Huffman – A Selection of North American Rivers

Rivers have long been key arteries of human settlement. They have provided us with drinking water, protection, and, in many cases, a transit network that links one settlement to the next. Drawing inspiration from transit diagrams, this stylized map shows some of the major rivers of the continental United States, southern Canada, and northern Mexico. You can read more about the map, and others in this series, on Daniel Huffman’s blog.

Available in three sizes: 36″ wide by 24″ high; 44″ wide by 30″ deep; and a truly massive 65″ wide x 44″ deep.

Each poster is printed on-demand using fully archival, UltraChrome inks on Moab Lasal Matte, a beautiful, brilliant white, 230gsm (11 mil) alpha cellulose paper which is acid- and lignin-free. Each print is carefully inspected, wrapped in pH-neutral paper, then rolled and placed in a sturdy chipboard tube for shipping.
